You are on your bike in the city and have done some spontaneous shopping. Now the problem of the way home appears. Often it comes then to daring and dangerous maneuvers. The solution to this problem is Porteur. Like a conventional luggage carrier, this is attached behind the saddle. When used in the city, the elastic straps can be loosened, the wings of the carrier can be folded out and the desired luggage can be attached by the straps. When not in use, the porter can be removed very easily. In our research we have looked into the different forms of transport solutions and attachment options. The research has shown that the best way to attach it is behind the saddle over the bike, above the saddle, for the riding behaviour and packing volume (standard shopping bag). Porteur provides flexibility, mobility and safety.
